Yep, the truck stuck in a hole and he continued on foot, without any water. That's really dumb isn't it :D ? So, he tought Zero may have gone to the God's thumb - the first Stanley Yelnats survived a desert like this place, while he recovered, he said he had found refuge on the God's thumb. When or Stanley saw a thumbs-up sign shaped mountain, he tought it might be it. - Anyway, after a hard walk he saw a boat in the middle of nowhere, he tought he could check it out. Guess what he found under it ? Zero ! He survived eating some ancient spiced peach jam (he called it sploosh) which was made by Kate Barlow. Of course, it made him sick and Stanley had to carry him to the top of the God’s thumb. He found the water refuge but it was all muddy and so little. Then he dug and he found onions growing there. They waited there for Zero to recover eating nothing but onions. When Zero got better, they filled their jars with water and stuffed all the onions they can fit in a sack and went back to dig up the treasure of Kissin’ Kate. They are caught by the Warden and the camp staff in the hole where they had found a suitcase. But they realized they were surrounded by yellow spotted lizards.
