Analysis

Well, I liked the book, a lot. I could predict what was going to happen next, but it was still exciting. As I mentioned before, the author has a style which links the past with the present. There were a bunch of flashbacks and a lot of ironical resemblances between the past and the present. I think this was a crucial feature for the book’s quality. It was a thrilling book.The plot was well designed and therefore interesting. There were a lot of themes in the book like love, hope, racism, poverty and frienship. If I understood the book right, the authors main message was  “The destiny is changeable. Our choices are what determines our destiny ”. However, I’m not really sure about that :D. Anyway, we got ourselves a happy ending as usual. I’m not complaining though. I would have been seriously pissed if  Zero and Stanley got bitten by lizards and died in the end :D. Despite there were a lot of clichées – the overweight asocial kid gets to have friends in the end,the silent boy turns out to be very smart , the good guys win, the evils gets punished etc. – it was an interesting story. I, for one, think it was the most enjoyable book I read as an assignment. It feels really good to finally finish this assignment, I hope you liked my blog.
